Juan do yu havea price worked out for the E6x seperatley of the kit. i know alot of people that own other kits would like a more affordable option to full engine management and want control for just the primary injectors.

Once we have finished the mapping, the wiring and all available options, we will offer it separate for all guys running turbo on Proteges.;)

And that utalizes the stock injectors and what kind of fuel control?
Feel free to direct me to another thread if this has been covered :D

905MP3,

Our kit comes with a F10 Haltech computer. The kit is designed to work on the P5 running 8 psi for 210 WHP, or the MP3 at 5.

For the guys looking for more, we will offer the E6X upgrade to control timing and enable them to go beyond 8 psi . For the MP3 it is a perfect upgrade.

You will need to wire 15 wires and that's it. It is like doing a stereo system. It is simple if you follow the instructions step by step. No mapping needed. Connect and play.

Juan,

Is that 210 WHP using the stock exhuast system, and 91 octane fuel? Also, if a person were to run 8psi, and use the E6X upgrade would you be able to get more out of the car because of the full engine management? 210 WHP at 8psi is mighty impressive I'd have to say, and with the ability to go to 12psi on 91 octane is wow. What do you thing the numbers would be like at 12? A lot of questions I know, but I am curious.

My goal is the run larger injectors with my aux inline pump and no FMU. I want the aux pump wired to the piggy back so it only operates above 45% under boost. Is this possible with the E6X?

Yes, both the F10 and the E6X have that option. You can turn on the aux fuel pump whenever you want so it only runs when needed.

Juan man how is it going with your dealer set up in Australia and we run 98 octane at the pumps here will the whp go up much? thx

It should be finalized next week. Their test kit is on their way now. I would say that you can probably run 12 psi on that fuel safely. The output would be around 240WHP.

Bean Bandit,

Our car did 214 WHP at 8 psi with a 2.25 Bosal cat back exhaust.

I would say that with stock exhaust the HP would be arond 200WHP.

At 12 psi the power can be around 235 to 240 WHP. I would strongly recommend a 2.5 cat back exhaust when going over 7 psi.

Just something to note, I didn't think Australia used the same way of determining octane as the US.

So, what is the octane level of 98 in Australia comparable to here in the US?

Juan,

Thanks for the information. I have to say that 214WHP is plenty enough, and at 8psi that is sweet. I would imagine that getting an upgraded clutch would proably be recommended, and an LSD would not hurt either. Correct me if I am wrong but you posted your 13.8 quarter mile when running at 214WHP without an upgraded clutch etc. If so that is a super sweet time, I would be plenty happy with that.

Sorry to be such a pain, but we're dying for it! :D

And since you're getting such good press of late (well deserved mind you), it makes it even harder not to hassle you. Share the love man! (laugh)

Thanks! :D

I think the price is going to make my decision here between the haltech and MPI piggyback.

For me, the haltech is still ahead for one point: the system is popular.

and...Bean Bandit:

Its an upgraded clutch, my best time on the track @6.5psi with the stock clutch was 15.1, clutch was slipping like hell....you can download my videos on the track, they are in my signature. You will notice the clutch slippage between gears.

I would suggest that, if you dont want to spend a lot of $ on clutch, upgrade the pressure plate, for me its good to 6.5psi, not tested over that anyway.
