G'day, I'm Jordan. I own a 2000-01 BJ1 Mazda 323 Astina. I'm from South Tasmania, Australia.
I've been slowly modding it. Main motivation to mod the Astina was because I wanted a Subaru Forester, but most of them are either expensive or have high Ks where I am. I remembered that I have a Mazda & that it's still in better condish than most Foresters or BJs in the area. So, why not make it look nicer according to my own taste?!

First Upgrades. Stickers, Wind-Fairing, Amber Indicator Tint (Soon To Be Replaced With USDM Lenses), 15x6 Auscar Savor's, Plastidipped Grille, EZLip, Boot Door Badges Removed, Wind-Fairing...


The Phat Stage. 16x8's Were Quite Nice, But I Din't Have Time Or Money To Go Through All The Work Straight Away & Wanted Something Nice Straight Away.

Current. 17x7 XXR 521's In Tiffany Blue. Quite Bright, But I Love Them!

I would, but after having a car accident in 2013 which involved a HiLux driving onto my side of the road & me avoiding it, rolling the car & almost sliding down into a river I'm a little scared to do performance mods. :/

Yep, lol I actually removed that sticker the other day. Replacing it with a Mazda Fitment seal. Wanting to stance it, but need the money to fund my entry into a photography course & all the equipment, which might end up costing around $7000-$8000 all up. So this thread might be a little slow for now.

Thanks man. Yeah, have had this problem for a few weeks now, but haven't even thought about using my time to fix that yet. Still trying to source a new rear-left passenger door. Also, getting some 16" black steelies tomorrow & they're 8" wide.

Won't be getting coils yet due to saving more for an '03 1.8lt model.

So... I got the new wheels. They stick out about 2.5 inches. Will need to get some bolt on flares now.

After a couple of days I decided that I didn't want to go through with this wide wheel project so I went in to Tazzy Tyres Moonah today & had them swapped over for some 17" XXR521.

Anyway guys, you won't see much mods or anything really from me for a few months as lots of hours at work. I'm saving for an NA MX-5 for early next year. Some of the stuff you see on this car will be transferred onto the MX-5 plus coilovers. My sister will be inheriting this car due to her getting her learners. I think it will be a nice b'day gift.
