hey guys i need some help

hey im new to dis forums. i have a mazda protege 5 had it for a while now and ive done some mods to it but it dosnt show much diffrence i was wondering if anyone can help me. i had spoken to a friend of mines and he had told me i needed to buy a program called apexi is dat true can anyone help me.

sorry, but there's no such program thats going to magically give you horsepower for this car. the only way to increase your horsepower a decent bit is to turbo it and turbo it right. I suggest you utalize the search button for this section to get more info.

nah not to increase it but he said i needed to buy it to be able to tune it do i really need to buy it to be able to tune it?

Well, with an aftermarket ECU you can tune the engine, but would that make a difference in speed? tiny at the most.
And that is definitely not the cheapest way to make some more hp.
