my NA 88 rx7 seems to have stumped me,(uhm) when i make a left handed turn with "Zest" (like a nut) the car falls flat on its face, in other words it dies for a moment like it lost fuel pressure or somthing, and it seems to get worse when very low on gas, it will fully die. it has a new fuel filter but i have a feeling it is in the in tank pump or rail or even injectors but i making a blind guesses because i have not done a thorough investigation. any imput would be awsome.

I'm thinking you need to pull out and clean the fuel sock located inside the fuel tank. You probably have sediment covering the sock at the lower parts of the screen where contaminants are most likely to collect. This could be why the problem is worse when you are low on fuel or making the fuel in the tank surge to one side

If that turns out to be the case, I'd also recommend changing out the fuel filter if it hasn't recently been done already.

ok thanks guys that sounds reasonable seeing how it did sit for 5 years with petrol (paint thinner by year 2) in the tank, i just didnt realize that this part existed. now i know so thanks. and i did indeed change the filter. (2thumbs)
