i've tried searching for the correct link, for my problems, and i havent found one.



1)my ac never turns off. when i switch it to "0" it still blows cold air
2)the temperature of the air never changes, no heat, only cold...sometimes the heat is colder than the cold setting


help me pleaseee

I don't mean to insult, but are you sure you are working the HVAC controls properly? Have you tried switching between outside air and cabin air recirculation? Is the light on the A/C switch on or off? If you have worked all that stuff already, maybe your HVAC unit is defective...you can probably find one in a local junkyard for next to nothing or maybe on www.car-part.com. I hope that helps...

Most likely your control cables are not attached properly

yeah, i know how to use the ac


theres no difference in temp, with the ac on, with the recirculation (the air comes out stronger with the recirculation on - normal?)

and i didnt really find that link helpfull, thank you though

the defrost can only runs with the a/c on, so i dont think the previous owner did that mod


please help me!

i spent last winter waking up and getting in my car at 6 in the morning with no way to stay warm (coffee did help)

i dont want this winter to be the same

Get your head under there and turn the dials. You'll easily see how they work.

Usually the cables aren't clipped in the right spot.

i checked earlier today, when i had some free time at work...

everything seemed plugged in right.


defective heating/ventilation system?

I Had the same problem...I took off my dash trim and the glove box and sure enough the cables werent hooked up and ran properly..It was like when i would turn the temp knob it would bounce back to the red, wtf..but take a gander back in there and double check
