Help with mpi tuner

I live in northeast GA just bought the mpi tuner with on having it tuned by a dyno, but Nick strongly recommended i do it myself so the car will maintain driveability. The problem is that i don't know a lot about tuning, so Nick told there are people in GA using the mpi, and said someone might be willing to help me out. If so please do!!!

I used it some, but I didnt really know much either. The best person you can ask for help is Big Tim. I would pm him, he helped me out tremendously. First I would also read all the directions to the mpi. Then when you install it, make sure you go ahead and sauter the wires(definately important). Make sure you have a laptop and you might want an adapter so you can plug it into your car b/c mine kept dying so I had to plug it in. Then from there you pretty much just drive around and watch your a/f ratio and adjust the numbers in the columns. It will take some patience, but once you get the hang of it, its not so bad. But definately send Big Tim a pm and ask him some questions.

rusty visit the engine/management/tuning section and check out the posts there or repost your questions...lot's of valuable info!! tim's the mpi guru! he's helped me out many times!
