help with installation on guage's

03.5 yellow/03.5 blue speed
im looking for help on installing three guages ... first is a boost guage , second is a wideband air fuel ratio guage , and last is a egt guage.
On the egt i would like to know where i would need to install the probe or where the best place to install it would be ?
On the boost guage i am unsure of which line i need to tap into .

And on the wideband i need to know where the best place to have the o2 sensor placed at?

vac/boost , and how, or where to connect the wires so the lights in the gauges dim when i turn on the lights ...? pics if possible
 
u still in atl? What kind of pod do you have for your gauges? A pillar? I have friday, sat, and sunday off. I can help you with the boost gauge and wideband install in person if you like.
 
where are you installing the gauge? because there are different options, if you want to splice into the ignition harness for the dimming feature you splice into accessories (at least for my gauges, i have glowshift elite 10 color) for boost find any vacuum source on the intake manifold and put a tee on and use that, so basically any nipple coming off the intake mani that has an air tube to put it in layman's terms

theres a how to for a turbo timer, much of the wires are the same so you can use that for location, and color reference

Ill chime in since I have all 3 :)........
EGT- put the probe as close to the turbo as possible
Wideband- put it about a 1/4 of a turn and 1" down from your first factory O2 sensor
Boost- Any good Vacuum source, I have mine ran off of a vacuum block since I had so many T's running everywhere.

Sorry I couldn't get back to you in time I appreciate the help to every 1 it's all very helpful , I am still working on the installation process , of the guages itself , I'm still a bit unsure of the wideband 02. since I think it might be easier to weld an extra o2 sensor bung after the cast iron part of the exhaust ( the j pipe ) would it still function properly ?
