help with defi egt install

i'm nub so deal with me for a bit...Has anyone installed this before? I tried lookin in the how to section but only found the a/f and the boost. I was wondering if i HAVE to tap (Drill) into my exhaust manifold to plug the sensor. It looks like there's a factory sensor already there??? Is there a way i could jus tap into the factor sensors?? damn i need a protege wire diagram book thingy...

the thing in the manifold in the primary O2 sensor and you kinda need that there. im pretty sure a stock egt sensor is extremely rare so you cant tap into anything. drilling your manifold is the best place to get the reading from but then you come into the problem of metal shaving getting into the turbo which is extremely EXTREMELY bad so to keep that from happening you have to take the turbo off the manifold which means taking the radiator out to get the manifold off the car to get at the bolts, etc etc. im looking into a defi d-gauge egt gauge but im not sure if the sensors that come with defi gauges are like the ones that autometer has. the sensor on those has a clamp thing attached to it so you can clamp it to an exhaust pipe to hold it in place since you cant tap into a thin walled pipe like that. hopefully thats what they come with because thats how i was planning on doing mine. the reading shouldnt be that much different.
