Ok...so I was out trying to remove my wheels to put some snows on there and the back right is stuck..

I tried kicking, pulling, scratching, whatever and I cant get it off. Its like its glued on there.

I tried searching for the thread where someone else had the same type of problem but couldn't find it. Please help....

Thanks

Brent

Cool...thanks...

I ended up searching again and found a similar thread.

Let me go try again.

two words that helped me out..
rubber mallet. Trust me.. it really worked!

hey drive to me and me and dexter will get em off me with my monkey man strength and him with his mallet of fury......we got his off after much advise that didnt work ...just have some one pull the s*** outa it and u or someone hit from under the car with a rubber mallet!! it works

well if you lived by me i bet you i could have it off in 1 min

i deal with stuck wheels every day at work

and 99% of them are 20 times harder than the proteges get...

and rubber mallets are cheap at Home Depot.. I still carry mine around with my spare tire just incase I ever get a flat tire...

How about big offroad tires on a truck? :) I loosen the lugs while it is still on the ground, and bounce the truck around. If this doesn't work, I will drive it forward and backwards a few feet. Since the hubs are huge and the tolerences are so tight, there is a very minimal chance of damaging studs unless you loosen the lug nuts too much.

As for the Protege, I never had any issues using this method either.
