For those that don't know, our old pal LinuxRacr has had a run of bad luck and stands to lose alot of hard work and energy he has put into his car, to say the least!

Well I got turned down for the additional funds to get my car out of the shop. So I am now scrounging to find the funds, and thngs to sell. If I seel the Turbo kit, that would mean that I spent all these funds just to go back to stock!

Let's be pals and help out, even if just a little! Linux has been a valued member of the community for a long time. Let's donate a little bit to show our appreciation!

Thank you. This is a very kind gesture, but I don't know if I deserve it. I work just like everyone else, and take chances with the choices I make. Just sometimes your choices (N20) catch up to you (sometimes a year later). If I can sell the stuff I have, I may be able to get my car out of the shop today, but I don't know. :(

No, I sent it in to get some minor (I thought they were) problems fixed before I put on the turbo. They turned out to be expensive problems ($2,000 over budget!). Apparently the engine had some major problems inherited form the previous owner in Japan. These problems manifested themselves with me. It is believed that the previous owner ran low on oil at one time, and caused my engine to become a "time bomb." I am just glad that the problems were caught and fixed before I had a major engine failure.

Dude that sucks so what was it like bad rings? or pistons were wearing crazy

All I know is that the cylinder walls had some nasty ass scratches (failry old scratches). I had been loosing oil. This was a good indicator of why. The Rod Bearings (all of them) were ate up. I will post pictures when I can remember to do so.
