For those that don't know, our old pal LinuxRacr has had a run of bad luck and stands to lose alot of hard work and energy he has put into his car, to say the least!

Well I got turned down for the additional funds to get my car out of the shop. So I am now scrounging to find the funds, and thngs to sell. If I seel the Turbo kit, that would mean that I spent all these funds just to go back to stock!

Let's be pals and help out, even if just a little! Linux has been a valued member of the community for a long time. Let's donate a little bit to show our appreciation!

i know how poor linux feels... i was impounded for quite a while... almost couldnt afford to get it out... im still making payments to the people that lent me the money... plus all the other bad luck i've had w/ the car... all together in the last two months.. just to get my car back and running right again ive spent almost $2000... it SUX.... so linux.. I feel your pain man... and I unfortunately dont have a credit card at the moment... or much that i can spare... but im gonna see if i give mom some cash if she'll let me paypal you atleast like 20-50.... i know how it sux man.. and i just hope that if i need it people will help me out... an i think thats the way it should be for everyone

we've got quite the little community here... this is probably the nicest, most helpful, funniest, and most informative community ive ever belonged too.. for anything.. not just the protege

so everyone... if you've got anything to spare.. help out linuxracr and if you have anything else to spare help out the site... as soon as i can im going too... i wanna give back for all the help ive gotten here.. and all the good times ive had...

Me too! With a shovel! Thanks for the gesture of kindness guys. We do have a great community here, where folks would even consider helping another member out. I don't know if I deserve it. I work just like everyone else, and take chances with the choices I make. Just sometimes your choices (N20) catch up to you (sometimes a year later). If I can sell the stuff I have, I may be able to get my car out of the shop today, but I don't know.

Funny thing is that I stocked up on "Top Ramen" last night, and that's what I ate at work for lunch last night. Until I can get this paid off, that's how it will be. Good stuff though!

You know it's funny, but even if I won the lottery there are certain "cheap" foods I'd still eat. Kraft Dinner for me is just something I've grown up with and still love to eat as a nice simple quick meal. Says 4 servings on a box tho....now that's funny!
