help....open suggestions to upgrades

i rencently purchased my msp 2 months ago. It has 34,000 miles on it and i am limited with 1,000 dollars in upgrades towards the engine and other accessories. These are some of the upgrades i had in mind
*Upgraded SMIC
*Injen cold air intake
*apex i turbo timer
*oil cooler
*boost gauge
*manual boost controller
.....if anybody has any suggestions,opinions,ideas or what ever else i could get instead of those or upgrades too save up for in the future, it would be very helpful...thanks

If you are looking for performance enhancements, I would recommend hardpipes and an upgraded SMIC. According to the dyno, it's good for roughly twenty more horsepower. I got hardpipes and will be purchasing a upgraded SMIC in a month or so.

You could get a Samco intercooler "hot-side" pipe and an upgraded SMIC for around $600 total. You could purchase those two items and have enough left over for a cold-air intake.

*I'm still learning about my MSP and my bolt-on mods are to provide slightly more power. I'm just starting out with simple mods and will do more as I learn the benefit(s) of a mod.

i would say Turbohoses smic and hardpipes. Not sure if you can run a stock intake box with it though. you might as well get an Injen/AEM intake too.

dont up the boost until u upgrade the intercooler and open up the exhaust. cold air intake is worthless. for 70 bucks you can get teh greddy turbo timer at www.turboimport.com.

dont we already have an oil cooler?

Yeah we have an oil cooler though it's not the best design it does work. I've had my MSP for quite a while now and I have a few upgrades and if I were to stat over again I'd go turbo back exhaust and an EMS. Anything is better than stock but I'd probably go with the unichip since it comes with a boost controler and has prebuilt maps for high and low boost.

i would say hardpipes, awr front motor mount and the upgraded smic or fmicrob

I'd get at least a downpipe, smic, k&n panel filter or CAI for starters.

AWR Mounts are a good first mod..

get a turbo back exhaust and a front mount. I have a perring exhaust and it gave me some really good gains oh and a boost gauge and boost controller. boost gauge should be first
