Help on taking apart ashtray compartment~~

Hi everyone, I wanna install a MP3 HU without sacrificing the stock stereo, so I'm thiking to put it in the ashtray compartment. I've seen some people done that. But how do I take apart the ashtray compartment. Same way as taking apart the center stock stereo console? And once it's in the ashtray compartment, how and where do I connect my MP3 HU to?

It's my first car audio project, any advice is greatly appreciated! =)

First, remove the center console:

Then there are only two screws that hold the ash tray in (you can see them in the last picture).

Can't help you with the connections, though. (dunno)

just go find badgers how to on ipod install. works with stock stereo, although you still have to use the ipod to change songs.
