Hey all I just swapped my 2012 chevy cruze (had about $10,000 aftermarket into it) for a 2013 Mazda 3 Sport GT. I'm looking at putting in a decent stereo system. I need help though. In my cruze I just had an expensive head unit, couple 10" kickers and an amp. It was a first car, had my fun. Now I want something serious. I have a budget of about $2500-$3000. I'm not looking to break windows, I want sound quality. My car has the premium bose sound system so the speakers to begin with are pretty good I guess. I would like to stick with the stock touch screen navigation system if possible.
What is the best sub woofers to go with? How much will a good, custom box run me? Should I deaden the car? Can you show me some of your setups to give me an idea on the possibilities.
I'm a total car audio noob. So any advice, pointers, knowledge databases will be awesome. I actually want to learn about this stuff!
