You know those Ion race springs give a real nice drop but how do they perform compared to eibachs and teins?

This statement is just plain retarded...do you even have experience with all of the companies you're excluding & do you realize that there are a lot more than just the ones who make springs for Proteges? (smash)

fact of the matter is that spring design is science. Or why don't you pick up some maxspeed coil overs for 80bux???

Eibach and H&R produce all of the production cars springs. They have the most know how and the machines to produce a great product. Teins are also highly recognized in the racing circuit.

I've seen intrax, tanabe and progress springs and they all rode like crap and sagged. Actually my tanabe droped a quarter of a inch more every year.

Buy your cheap goldlines, ions, spools. I can care less. I think i'll buy a spring from a manufactor that acutally does spring engineering testing on the racing circuit. In FIA Rally, JGTC, F1, Speed vision touring.......All i keep seeing is H&R, eibach and teins.

Plus if you get Tein springs you can put all those googley eyed Tein mascots all over your car.

tanabe is probably as highly reputable if not moreso than tein dude....
