yesterday lead my MS3 to checking since the CEL was activated, the ecu reflects the codes P0134 & P0032, some recommendation to correct this problem???

Thanks

What are your mods? Are you stock? Have you done anything to your exhaust system?

I think the codes both relate to the front (pre-cat) oxygen sensor - that it is showing high voltage and no activity. Maybe the sensor has failed, or maybe you just need to loosen and retighten it and the electrical connector? I'd begin that way.

Others? What say ye? Lets give the OP a hand here.

A code P0134 may mean that one or more of the following has happened:

* Bad O2 (oxygen) sensor
* Bad heater circuit in the O2 sensor
* Wiring or connector to the sensor frayed / broken
* Blown heater circuit fuse
* Holes in the exhaust system
* PCM failure

A P0032 DTC trouble code may be caused by one or more of the following:

* A short in the heater circuit in the sensor
* A failed O2 sensor heater
* Wiring/connectors broken/frayed leading to sensor and/or relay
* Failed PCM/ECM

This is a generic but a place to start:
The most common fix is to replace the oxygen sensor. But that doesn't rule out the possibility of:

* Rusted exhaust pipe
* Inspect wiring & connector(s) for problems
* Excessive amperage blowing heater fuse (still requires replacement of sensor but also replacement of blown fuse)
* Replace PCM (only as last resort after all other possibilities are covered.

To fix a P0032 DTC code, you'll need to do a proper diagnosis. To do that, you'll want to inspect the wiring and connectors leading to the sensor. Also if equipped with a heater relay and fuse, you'll want to check those as well. Use a digital volt ohm meter to:

* check for 12 volts at the heater circuit feed (hint: unplug the sensor and check at the wiring connector to do this measurement)
* check the ground circuit for continuity
* measure the resistance of the heater circuit (done on the sensor itself)
* measure the resistance and voltage of the wiring

Check the fuse and replace. If blown, fixing the fuse may be all you need to do. If the fuse is good:

Buy or get a loan of an 02 sensor wrench of the correct size.

Pull the front 02 sensor connector, clean it.

Pull the front 02 sensor, clean the threads and electrical connector with denatured alcohol.

Place anti-seize compound on the threads and reinstall it.

Replace the cleaned electrical connector.

If this does not work, then you probably have a bad sensor. This is probably going to be replaced free under your warranty. May have to put your second cat back in place before going to the dealer.

Big kudos to Funksilver07 and MSMS3 for detailed & very helpful responses. I love seeing people step up with info like that for a fellow MS3 driver in need.
