Help Me.(burn Smell Coming From Belts area)

I was doing a couple of runs starting in first gear. The first 2 times i mest up and lounched late from first @ 3500 rpms which made me burn alot of tire until 3 gear:'(. Well now i have a rubber burn smell. The burning smell is not coming from the tires but in the engine area where the belts are. Its a strong smell. The car is running well, and i had the dealer do the 5000 mile check today, and they said the car was fine. I told them about the smell, and they looked and said it was fine... Is the car okay?(nailbyt) Help me

From what you are describing it sounds like the clutch.

The smell will go away. Just don't abuse the clutch too much.

Either it's clutch or more than likely just the smell of the tires trapped under the hood.
