Help Installing my CPE CAI!

Hey guys I am currently installing my CPE CAI. I am trying to remove the factory air box Silencer but i don't know how to remove it??? The directions says there are 3 8mm bolts that keep it in place but i don't c any!! (i see some 15mm bolts are those it??) can some one please help me out!!

Also any other tips for installing the CAI to make it go easier i would greatly appreicate it.

Hey man,

Yea i just installed mine and i think i know what your talking about. You have to jack up your front left wheel and unscrew the covering that leads up to that filter. Once you do that you have to reach up and unscrew three very difficult screws. They are kinda hidden and well covered so youll need a socket wrench to really get it. I am not sure what size it was but they are three maybe two bolts that are holding it in.

Anyway it ended up taking me three hours to install it. I know thats long, but i got it and it works great and sounds even better.

yea kool thanks i just finshed mine as well. I had to use the smallest Socket Wrench 1/4, and it worked out perfect. size of the nuts were 14mm. BTW does any know know how many Fts-lbs to torque the wheel nuts at??
