Help .... Gas Door (Fuel Filler Door)

I just replaced the chrome bling gas door, with a stock one ... well when I go to release the gas door its not opening, so I am wondering if I am missing some other piece.

Can someone kindly take a picture of their gas door opened up ... so I can see if I am missing anything? I am going to stop at the dealer tomorrow to check.

Turns out I need to the door return spring, so I will order that today.
