ok, so I installed DSM's afc on my car ~250 miles ago. It started out working fine, and then gradually began losing some of the smoothness (especially at cold idle). Granted, some of that may have just been the ecu re-learning a/f's and not the actual DSM, but what happened today could in no way be mistaken for "normal."
I fired up the car and it was idling like it was on the verge of dying--REALLY rough and chuggy like it was getting all fuel or something. What's worse, is I tapped the gas (normally--since DSM install--makes this go away) and it didn't respond. So I punched the gas to the floor for a few times and it still didn't seem to respond. Finally, I just held down the gas pedal (still at a stand-still), and after a second or 2 THEN it responded. I'm affraid this will only get worse based on the progression from the last 250 miles.
Anyone else have this issue? What to do? (huh)
