Help! Driver side mirror whistling driving me nuts

I've had my 2014 cx-5 for about 6-7 weeks now and I guess I hadn't noticed this before. But the side mirror on the driver side whistles in the wind at around 25-30 mph + and is driving me nuts. I tried putting tape over the gap where the mirror is affixed to the car but that doesn't seem to be what is causing the noise. But if I put my hand in front of the mirror to deflect the wind it completely stops. I can't seem to find a fix that anyone has found yet but wondering if anyone has this problem and if so if there is anything that can be done?

had this issue, sounded like a tea kettle wistling, found out it was the window seal that had a gap.
Dealer replaced it with a new one and its gone since
