Help! Clicking/ticking noise upon deacceleration

I have a 2003.5 MSP, ACT clutch, and urethane mounts, the rest is stock. This past weekend I went out for a stint of spirited driving, and after coming back down to cruising speeds I have developed a noise. Whenever I slow down, no matter if I'm coasting in gear or in neutral, there is a clicking noise that goes with the revolution of the wheels. slow or fast. If i accelerate it goes away. If I'm on the brakes its still noisy. I don't feel anything in the steering wheel, or pedals.

What did I tear up? (hand)

Could be the dust shield on the front disc brakes. I have bent my by accident in the past. I remember having a clicking sound. Put the parking brake on, put a block to lock the back wheels in place, jack front of the car up, put the car in neutral, then rotate each wheel - then listen for which side the clicking comes from. Use a flashlight as you are looking around. You should be able to determine where the clicking is coming from at this point. Could be a bent dust shield or a lodged rock in between something.

Yeah, I've already done that. No noise unless the car is actually moving. Shouldn't have bent anything. Aside from driving it hard, everything else was normal. Was driving fine under normal conditions, then drove it hard (no missed shifts or anything like that, though I did launch it once from about 2500 or so), then back to cruising speeds is when I first noticed the noise.

Could be a wheel bearing or a failing CV axle

..or something from the road that got wedged up near the brakes and wheel. CV clicking normally happens when making a turn, not going straight. At least that's been my experience.

It could be cv axels i had it happen to me just before i changed mine it would click coasting, not accelerating or braking though, my boots were torn in half though
