HELP! cant get alternator out of car! any tips?

ive got everything disconnected, i just dont know how to get the damn thing out. is removing that exhaust midpipe the way to go? it seems like itd never fit out through the top, so i tried getting out the bottom for awhile yesterday. any tips would be greatly appreciated, id like to get this done today

you have to remove the passenger side axel to get it out.I had to pull the axle on my 626 to get it out.easyest way i think

Got it! I took off the thing that looked like a skidplate going across the car and it just fell right out

I thought t i came out the top by mashing it by the Cruise control when moved... [shrug]

I would like to know the 'best way' - it sounds like there are several ways...
