Hey can anyone help me out with this? I was thinking about buying a sedan catback exhaust to go onto my P5?

What do you think? Good Idea? Or not really worth the hassle? I'm curious to know if this will even work with minimal money coming out of my pocket?

Any Help?

you could get it and have an exhaust shop weld the extra section off or whatever, but seems to be too much of a hassle.

do u know if just the axel back is the difference or is it the entire thing that will be outta whack?

Have between 5-6 inches chopped off between the muffler and the tip of the exhaust. It will fit perfect and hang from the hangers as the sedan......everything Cat-back will fit fine.....

yeah basically you have to lose 4" somewhere in the exhaust...

easiest (wouldn't require rewelding of hangers) would be between the muffler and the tip but most any shop can do it. I used the MSP axleback and just had Midas remove the section and reweld it for $20. call around, most any shop will do it and do it really cheap for cash :D

been looking at a greddy CB and that solution prolly wont work since the muffler and tip are pretty much set.... and removing the 5-6 inches b4 the muffler would prolly require repositioning of the hangers, right?

ahhh but ur's was just the axleback, i was more thinking bout kinda cutting and welding involved with the entire cat-back

its like making a civic axel back exhaust fit... u can make it fit, u just gotta pay a lot more to make it fit. sedan and p5 exhausts are totally different when it comes to lengths.

peace
