Help: Broken MAF! Urgent!!!

hmmm sorry to thread jack - well its related..... i need a new MAF... unfortunently i had no recall so mazda won't cover the thing

oh yeah its for the 1.6...

igdrasil, mine just keeps screwing up but on and off... so i disconnected it... i think she's running a touch rich, but i can't afford the 560 that ford quoted me, or even the 434 that mazda quoted me....

sucks coz i'm gonna end up needing a new cat if i don't do anything quickly

will it start disconnected?? - mine runs with out it!!!
if it don't start could it be something a bit more complex? (i know you did break the part...)
