HELP ASAP! NEED remote amp wire location

Any wire that turns (switched 12v+) on with ignition is ok... I tapped a wire at the interior fuse box panel. Wish I could remember which for you... hopefully someone will chime in with colors.

what color wires

what wire color do you have to cut and splice to get the bose amp to power on? The guys at Scoche told me to cut the all white wire & the white with red stripe, I connected both to my yellow power wire and it still does not work. How did you do it? I have a Kenwood DNX7100 that I would like to install keeping the Bose amp and speakers in place. Please help! Thanks

I'm afraid you're in the same boat as me and out of luck. The original thinking was that you could replace the HU keeping the Bose amp & speakers, and based on that I bought an AVIC-D3 unit and installed it last Saturday. When I finished I could not get sound from the speakers at all. I thought it was the remote turn on wire (which is the solid white wire incidentally), but I had that connected and it was getting 12v, still no sound. Now in reading more, it appears that this Bose setup is different from most others, and the processing is done in the amp (notice the factory wiring only has left & right, not front, back, center etc, that's done at the amp level). I think we're going to have to bypass the amp, but I'm hoping I can take my wires from the HU and tap the wires coming out of the amp versus running all the way to the speakers themselves, but I'm still researching that. I have a diagram of the Bose amp output wires, pm me if you want a copy. If you are able to make it work with the Kenwood running to the Bose amp lmk, as I'm not aware of any way to make that work.
