2003 Mazda Protege' 5 (stock)
Hey everyone, I'm new to the forum. I just bought a 2003 Protege' 5 the other day. It's stock, no mods. I've got to say, I really love this car, it handles extremely well and looks awesome. My last car was a 1990 Nissan 300ZX. It was old and falling apart, so I sold it and put the money for down payment on my new Mazda. The Protege' is completely stock, I want to do some stuff to it, but I don't know where to start. I think I might try getting the windows tinted first. Any suggestions? I hope to be a member of this forum for a long time and get to learn much more about my new car. Anyone live in Reno? Thanks guys/gals.

welcome. lotsa people from around the reno area i thinik check the nevada boards.. this place is full of info just make shure to either not care to be flammed on or search.

welcome. be sure to check out the "how-to" section, it'll show you how to everything from installing a header to painting your valve cover. and like it was mention be sure and use the search. have fun. :)

Welcome; the search option is your best friend... (first) It's a great board, congrat's and enjoy your ride.

Thanks guys. I've been browsing the forum for like a couple hours now I think, haha. I can't seem to find the "Nevada Boards" though. And thanks all for the "use the search" pointer so I don't get flamed! (thumb)

welcome to the forums! since everyone's covered all the basics already, my tip to you will be to keep an eye on the main page's for sale sections. the AV section is an awsome place to find new toys and awsome group buys from our resident vendors. the member for sale section is the best place to find awesome deals on random parts that other members are getting rid of. and the rules for those sections really make sure you don't get screwed....the moderators take them really serious, too.

anyway, welcome and enjoy the car. oh, be careful with modding...once you start, it's really hard to stop...
