Headunit which one?

I am starting to shop around for Audio components; first item I am looking at is the headunit. In the budget that I have accorded for this unit, this is what I have narrowed it down to.

1<SUP>st</SUP> choice Alpine CDA-9807

2<SUP>nd</SUP> choice Kenwood KDC-X569<O></O>

3<SUP>rd</SUP> choice Pioneer DEH-P650

I would like to know what you guys think. Suggestion/feedback etc<O></O>

I am a pretty big alpine fan. I would not get the kenwood. JVC or alpine is what I stick with.

dunno...I would be between the Pioneer and the Alpine. I don't particularly like that Alpine, but the Pioneer doesn't do MP3 playback...that's the Premier version of that unit, though. For like $285 (MSRP) you can get the regular version of it the does play MP3s.

It's a matter of taste, though...The Pioneer or the Alpine will serve you well. Choose the decks based on the feature set you're interested in, the overall visual appeal, and price you're willing to spend. If you can, try to take a listen to it as well, but that's not *as* imperitive as the other concerns (as both will hae pretty good SQ).

if you can wait about a month or so, just wait because the 2004 line-ups will be released. someone already bought an a new alpine and it looked awesome

All are good units that have been reliable for us.
I like the user interface of the alpine the best.

I got the premier deh-750 and i like it. Its also easy to use.

One problem.
Its twice as expensive as the other units he's looking at.
