Header Question

Have an oddball question for those of us going NA. I was poking around on Auotexe's site tonight and saw that they listed headers. Just out of curiousity I checked to see what they had listed, I can't read japenese, but according to the body code listings they list one for our cars. Just wondering if anybody has any idea's on whether or not their header is a viable option versus say AWR's or the Bosal unit.

it will work, but since the j-spec cars do not have a pre-cat you will lose your emissions compliance. if you don't care about emissions, then yes it is an option.

Do you know if it has the proper EGR port and primary O2 sensor hook ups. BTW which voodo knob do you have.

i would think so, but i am not 100% sure. i would think the task at fitting that header would be fitting the second o2 sensor so the ecu won't go wacky on ya. however, even that wouldn't be too much of a task for a competant exhaust shop to handle. i don't know about the awr header either, but the bosal unit, i belive you are refering to the one for the probe/mx6. that one is a total pain to fit becuase it wasn't designed for our car layout.


on the voodoo knob, it is a polished magnum made for a miata.
