Head unit on mazda6 s....

if a mazda i was looking at had this stock headunit does it come with a tape player??

i havent seen it in person so i couldnt tell but the button says "tape" on it and it looks like that there is an area for one to fit but in all the specs for these cars, known say they include cassett player..

does anyone have this model that knows? thanks

its an add-on part. you can get either tape or mini-disc.

you have to order it from the dealer and its expensive, so most cars don't have one. plus it takes up the accessory port that most aftermarket iPod/aux adapters use.

so if the car has that unit then itll have a casset player or no?

I can't see your image (blocked at work) so, here is one of mine:

see the bar under the radio preset buttons? thats where the tape player will be if it has one. The design is basically the same for all mazdas, with slight variations in button layout and look/feel.
