I think I know the answer but want to make sure before I spend the $$$..

Today I was taking some sharp turns, just having fun. The rear of the car felt like it was trying to slide out and over all the whole car was just kind of sloppy and now very stiff. Can I upgrade the sway bars and get it a little stiffer or should I start with suspension first?

thanks!

In order of money spent, here are your suspension mods.

Urethane Bushings $100
Springs $150-$300
Sway Bars $150-$700
Coilovers $900-$4000

Go with some adjustable sway bars. they are very simple to install and adjust. No more than thirty minutes with a floor jack. They will also really distribute the weight a lot better. I have no idea how you had the rear end sliding out in this car. You should have felt more of a "im pointing the car in this direction and its not listening" type of driving experience. Anyways, I have some sway bars on the way if you wanna wait up a week. Ill post my review in this section once I get them on.

thanks! Your description of the rear end was better than mine. It didn't slide out... it just wasn't going where I wanted it to.

I will wait a little while and see what you think. I probably wont be getting anything until then anyways.

how hard are the bushings to install?

haha wonderful. I think I will just hold off and do the bar all at once since it looks like it comes with the bushings anyways. I will watch for your review on it.
