I noticed a few different full sets of shocks on ebay, Ultima and "sensen" are the two main brands. Anyone use these? I know Monroes are good I use them on my jeep, Suburban, and F250.

I am getting ready to upgrade/renew the suspension on my 5 since there is now 150k on the clock.

I used Sensen on the rear twice on my previous 2006 Touring...once when I first bought them, the second time under warranty. They're crap don't buy them. Each time they only lasted no more then 10K miles.

sensen often used by the repair shops, mostly by discount type but often in the after accident repairs.
I have a pair on my other car, seem ok but they are very new. They do come with life time parts warranty.

there was a brand on ebay, STAGG SHS or something...real cheap like Sensens and Ultima that was kind of easy to find on ebay
some reviews can be found on google

don't forget KYB is a great brand for the price

I just got a pair of rear sensen shocks off ebay for $37 shipped. Others have said they are crap but I just want to throw something on until I redo the whole suspension. The OEM rears are toast at 52k miles.

I can source Monroe, (which is a brand I trust and use on my expedition vehicles and work truck with great results) locally. That way when warranty comes around I can just order a new one, and get credit back when I return the blown one.
