Has anyone had any experience with...

Sounds like a good deal to me, have you had any experience with these guys? Good quality??? I want to put 8000k in both my headlights and fog lights, wants like a bluish tint to my lights, also whats the difference in the 35w and 55w???

You want the best you can buy, get Philips bulbs & ballasts. You want something to get the job done, get the Apexcone/DDM ones.

TunerSteve has experience with these.. I havent had time to install mine. If you want blue ish then go with 8k

difference between 35w and 55w is....

What is the difference between 55w and 35w kits?
Our 55w HID kits are 40% brighter than the standard 35w kits.
The 55W system ballasts are about 1 cm longer than the 35W ballasts.
55w kits tend to wash out some of the color of the HID bulb due to the light output (for example, a 55w 8000k will look similar in color to a 35w 6000k kit).
Our 55w HID Kit is not recommended for smaller fog light housings because they tend to concentrate a large amount of heat in a small area.

Both are lifetime warranty just one is a slim kit and different manufacture

Actually nevermind. ur right

they changed it because before it used to be 1 year warranty for apexcone and life for ddm

Definitely don't go above 8000k for color, since you really start dropping off in terms of usable light (lumens). I have the DDM 6000k low beams & fogs (35w) and they are more than sufficient. Lightly blue, but very good visibility. Search for my thread in the 6 forums.

I searched before i posted this and didnt come up with anything. But i do like your setup and gonna buy the exact same one!and also order a set for my Sonoma. You never had any issues with yours after?

I was thinking about getting the DDM/Apexcone as well based on price + lifetime warranty, but have read quite a few complaints about their customer service being horrendous. It's nice to have the lifetime warranty, but if they are reluctant in backing that up... might just be worthless to even have. So I'm debating some Volt Digital+ HIDs. However Volt = $120... so how much more quality for almost 3x price + 1 yr "legitimate warranty"? Sighhhhh... I hate being a baller on a budget, hahah.

But for the price you really can't go wrong. I bought a set, H11 6000k 35w, a set of d2s 6000k bulbs and also another kit 9600 6000k 35w and paid $113 shipped and that was with $37 for shipping. Gonna use them all winter on my truck and see how they work out and if they last i'll put the other ones in my car when she comes outta storage. If i get a year with no trouble i don't mind dishing out 29 bucks for another full set.
