Has anyone added a shield over the cat to prevent theft?

+1 Saw that today on Motorweek. Sounds like a much less expensive option than many. I'm going to talk to my local shop about doing that for me.

I took a look underneath. It looks like the ends of the cat, which is where they are cut, are already shielded by some parts of the chassis.
Maybe the cx5 is not a good target?

there are ready made products.. sure for the house.. but can be easily adapted for the use case.
