Hardwiring an ipod

Does anyone know it the kenwood z919 has rca in-cable hookups in the back so i can hardwire my ipod in?

I dont know, but the z828 mine came with has aux rca's

I am pretty sure it does.
However even if it doesn't Kenwood makes an adapter that will plug into the CD changer port and give you stereo pair of RCAs to utalize.

the z919 does NOT have aux inputs!

if you find an adapter somewhere, let me know...it will be a "13-pin" 'bus' connector to go into the back of the z919.

nope, i had an older kenwood changer when i got the mp3, but couldn't hook it up, only ONE kenwood changer hooks up to it, on the z919, there are two slots for tv and md/cd changer.i'm not positive of the name of the connections, but i do know that it is a rectangular hook-up, and not the standard circuler one.

I would call Kenwood a similar part has to exist.

Thanks bud but so do 2 of my friends got it at a good price.. anyways.. i posted this over in a ipod forum.. one of the guys gave me a part number for an older tuner he had but it sounds like it may be the same port.. any one know???

sorry to bring up an old thread but finally got some support/looked back into trying to do this, looks like i will need to get a new face unit

Unfortunately, the Z919 was not designed to accept the CA-C1AUX (13 pin to
RCA) auxiliary adaptor.
It is not possible to add an auxiliary input to the Z919.
