i was looking at the haltech ek6,and it says it will completely replace the stock ecu and use all stock sensors except for the 3 bar map sensor. does any one know if this is a viable option to the engine management problem in the mp3.
A stand alone will solve any engine problem concerning the ecu but tuning is a must and not look at a crappy a/f gauge i'm talking dyno tuning big bucks! The Haltech will work with the FS series motor you may have to get osme other sensors as i'm not sure if some of the sensors that Mazda uses are compatible with the E6K unit.
