Okay, so after browsing several wheel maker sites... I'm still not sure if I should go Gunmetal or Hyper Black (on RX-8 5-star wheels) on my soon to be delivered Crystal White Pearl MS3. The wheel maker sites (for color reference) don't offer GM or HB on the same wheels... so I can't clearly see what HB does vs GM.
I would think anything towards silver (HB looks to lean that way) would not look too good, but then again... Gunmetal seems it might be a bit flat against the CWP.
As for that post I found here warning not to powder coat aluminum alloy wheels... there must be a powder coater that has the right process down. If anyone know of a quality powder coater that knows how to keep the wheel integrity, please let me know.
