i don't know the other guys, but since you mentioned names.. dustin is the one i have a problem with.. i loved it when he had his maroon mx6 painted yellow (trendy) and you lift up the doorhandle and it was still maroon underneath.. hahaha.
I was gonna hit jred321 too. Right now I can't get past the "verifying username..." screen. I think it has to do w/ my firewall. Everyone else is at lunch, so I can't ask my coworkers who do have it set up how they did it until they get back.1338 said:

I was there in the beginning of this year. I went with them from Frisco to Arizona. I went to go see a few of my friends who were in it. James with the Ferarri, and Mike and Todd, from Honda-tech.com the only ones with a Honda! :x Their 94 'lude was in it. I've never had so much fun with a huge group of people.

OK....I apologize guys....I couldn't get the file to attach to an email, and I couldn't gain access to AIM on my work computer! Figures....I couldn't even send it to myself! Well, to those willing to host it, I appreciate it. For those waiting to see it, I truly apologize. If I can borrow the 2 discs from my coworker again, I can get it on my home computer, and then I will be able to use AIM.
The one BMW that ran the one year was from Gaithersburg, DTM Powersports they're in VA now they have some cool vids of BMW's blasting down 270. The thing that REALLY pissed me off was that I was working in DC the year the Gumball came through and stopped at Union station, which is right across the street from my work!

I raced him and it was unbelievable. I've NEVER seen a car pull so fast on me in such a short time.
We were doing like 130mph then we hit it. He pulled like 4 cars lenghts on me in like 3 seconds.

Racing with them is AWESOME!!!....we had helicopters chasing us at 150mph+ and everything...lol (though it wasn't safe having like 20 cars doing 120+ easily). Most of the guys are from NoVa/DC/Md area. The site that Dustin and Dado run is www.dtmpower.net . They have some sweet videos on there, but you have to register to get them. Registration isn't very much, like $10. Anyway, I think you shouldn't host these videos. Go out and buy them, support the community, and ensure we'll get more of them.

Hey redrims, when're the drives? I'd love to come up for one some time. I've been a long time dtmpower fan heh. Sounds like fun. Think the msp will be able to keep up? What's the deal with cops? How many people normally get tickets? My car tops out at like 132

They have cruises pretty often. As long as you don't drive a Honda, your ALWAYS welcomed...lol For some reason, they despise Civics (dunno) unless they are putting out huge numbers.
The MSP should keep up pretty easily as long as we don't run into a 4 lane highway at 2am and no ther cars in site....For quick stop and go, they MSP will seem just as fast. We only hit 140+ because we got on a 4 lane expressway with hardly no other cars in site, which is very rare.
Deal with cops? Dado has a warrant...lol
If I find out of anymore cruises, I'll let you know. They usually go up to Philly a lot, but winter is here so things have probably slowed down.
i have the a two part video....and i forget what year but i think its last years not sure....and i happen to know someone that can get you in cheaper then the entry fee off the website....you can even get cars from him if you want....pm for the information or if you just want the videos sent to you...ill gladly post them up if anybody can host...but as of now i cant find anywhere to host

I was actually at the Gumball 3000 in Tucson, AZ. It was prolly the coolest thing I had ever seen. There was one car there that was the most valuable car at the show and there had only been 3 made at the time and th owner had two of them. I don't remember what it was called though. The doors opened like a Lambo. I actually have pix of it. I think it had the word "coin..." in the name. Did you know that like all of the guys that are there make their money in the porn business. Some nice people. LOL I saw some really cool stuff and actually made friends with a couple of the drivers. I have a few pieces of memorabilia left from it. You wouldn't even believe the cars that were there! All those guys brought them over from Europe just to participate. The valet didn't know what to do. They kept getting in on the wrong side of the cars.
