Has anyone else played this PS2 game? It sounds really lame and I feel like a big loser when I play it....but it's like crack!

The songs are great and the guitar controller is cool as hell!

One of the greatest games ever. A few of my friends found out I had it, and now, I can barely get through a week without someone dropping by to play Iron Man a few times.

I don't care how stupid I look playing it. It makes me feel like a total badass, and that's all that really matters.

I just got the game about 3 weeks ago and I'm addicted. The song list is awesome, and when you nail a tough solo, feels awesome! Bark at the Moon is nuts, even on Medium it's tough to get 100% Phrisco got me hooked on this game. He always played it at the local shows out of the back of Bigwoofers car.

How would it be any different on other consoles?? Rhythm type games aren't really going to vary from one console to another. Guitar Hero 2 is coming out in 6 weeks though, can't wait for it!! Here's the confirmed song list so far:

This song list looks great so far. Songs 12 to 16 are going to be awesome to play in game. I was listening to a Try Honesty a few days ago and thought that would be an awesome song for the game. It's got a good solo about halfway through the song, plus the guitar portion of the song really stands out. This Suffering from Billy Talent II would be good as well. I just so happened to be listening to both the cd's around the same time, lol.

Guitar Hero II should be out in mid-November. Get your buddies together because you can now play lead, melody, harmony, and I am not sure if you can play bass. It is too bad UmJammer Lammy did not come with the guitar. I hate playing with the stupid controler. It is more entertaining with the guitar. Anyways, I cannot wait for II to come out! You guys should try the Taikko game too!

Ya the guitar makes this game so much fun. It will be fun being able to play the same song but with a totally different set be it lead, acoustic, whatever. Comes out early November. Would like to see what the other half of the song list is like.

I love this game! WarPigs rules! Getting the next 2-guitar one for the kids for Christmas. It is very addictive.
dudes at our local GameCrazy can rule the entire gammut of tracks on Expert mode and never miss a note.

Ya there are some freaks out there that can really tear it up on Expert, but not many, it's so damn hard. I've been playing for about 3 weeks now and I started playing expert a few days ago. I've been 4 starring most the songs, got through about 15 so far. I'm working on 5 starring all the hard songs too. Go to www.scorehero.com and see some of the crazy scores people have put up.

I've been in a band for 7 years and have been playing the guitar for 8-9 years.

The first time I watched somebody playing it, i was like "What a bunch of losers". But, I tried it. AND I'M HOOKED!!!!!

I've been playing guitar for years. I had retired the guitar playing because of some tragic events but when I picked this game up...it made me want to start up again. Like Taylorex, I also saw these guys playing this game and I thought the same "what a bunch of losers." I decided to just try it for the hell of it, now I'm freaking hooked too. It took me four days to get to expert; however, the expert level is kicking my sorry a$$ now. I need new music because I'm getting tired of hearing the same songs over and over as I mutilate it. Peace!
