Once again I ran 14.9 stock in the GT-S. Who has done than with the MSP. Noone that I know of so the celica is faster stock vs stock. Handling th MSP is better but with my suspension mods Its very close. When I get the LSD for it then the celica will be better but its still very close.

I thought Celica's were fast untill i found out that there gear ratios in the 1-2 shift puts the rpm's under the second cam. Meaning that when u shift to second when racing someone you end up just before the VVT-i kicks in creating a slower accel. time(got that info from Super Street). I guess that is why similarily modded (I/H/E) Integra's and V-TEC Preludes are always winning in a straight line.

I used to keep up with lightly modded 2000+ Celica GTS's in my old 1994 G20... I think my MSP at 8 psi would easily pull on one.

Wow different! I was browzin on Club RSX, and there was a thread in the RSX vs all Part of the forum about an RSX type S vs MSP. Most of the RSX club members were all cool and were saying that the msp is a sweet car and how with the reflash it's egual stock to stock with a typeS. So i really don't think that a GTS would own an MSP when an RSX and MSP are egually the same. And yea i've beaten a GTS and all i got done was the reflash and a K&N drop in filter, and the GTS had an injen intake.
