Gt3071r dynos, datalogs.... heres the goods.. 346 whp

Heres the update many of you may have been looking for on my car. Tuned with the CPE standback v2 @ 18psi.. This tune was initially made 3 weeks ago. It has only been slightly tweaked. But from the datalogs you'll see the tune with the piggyback is still holding GREAT!!! Ive got fuel pulled, and added, and a little timing added as well....

The car has around 1000 miles at 18psi tuned since the install.... and its been driven hard and ENJOYED!!! No fuel cut either..Thank you cpe!!

And I gotta give props to Ken and Zach at Protege Garage. Its the only place I shop.

Heres the latest dynograph. And the rest of this has been copied from the other forum. I'll also copy this to the third one...lol God I hate it were not all together. Ive got impressions up at the other place so search. Anyway....

The dyno had been freshly recalibrated 3 days ago... with all new equipment and software installed after being down the last couple weeks. No a/fs... the dyno was still missing a sensor but we datalogged all the runs. Wideband was in the car to back it all up. They all looked good.

These are my final numbers. 346 whp / 329 trq

My last dyno before the gt30 on the same dyno is below. This will help for comparison sake. I also upgraded with the inlet kit and PG mani when the turbo went on. Car was also updated with v2 standback..... on this dyno I was tuned at 18psi with the standback v1.

66 whp gained. Srts with this turbo make about 350 whp. ATP on their test mule pulled off about 360in 4th, 375 in 5th. I feel like Im on target. However... I put a new synapse bpv on today as well. It lost boost in the 3800rpm range and up top. The forge(with red spring) held 18 psi like a mfer.

I probably would have made 350 if that torque hadnt dropped when boost dropped. The synapse lost it there and up top too.

Anyway... I'm not done yet.
Look me up if youve got any questions about how its going. there aint much with this car I havent seen...lol but its worth it.... Ive got one hell of a ride boys!!!!

On the dashhawk... my preliminary runs have been in the mid 12.s and trapping around 118. Dashhawk aint perfectly accurate, but the runs werent even close to clean either.

we'll be tracking it for sure. I'll be the first into the 11's on street tires, if all goes well. Ive got a little up my sleeve... before I move on past stock internals. A race gas tune at around 24 psi tuned should hook that up easily... we'll see.

i've heard that anything over 103 octane on this car doesnt really make a difference, true?

Looks pretty awesome mannnnnnn. I would definitely play with the new blow off valve and get your boost back up.

I will have to say that I don't necessarily like the dip at 4k, but the car still looks like its a monster, and I definitely feel like there is much more room for tuning out more power.

If your numbers put down the same in about 3 weeks, I may have to get a standback on the way lol.

Also, your dyno is right in line with ATP's. they made a spike for 374whp, but they nailed a 355whp and maintained it.

Go look at my dynos at marks... there is no dip there. Thats the synapse bro... I discussed it in more depth at the other place.

The boost dropped to 16 after the turbo fully spooled. that was the bpv. synapse for the loss. The car was making and holding more power with the forge, red spring..... just IMO.

I was just wondering, isnt that turbo good up to like 22 psi? What was the limiting factor, what made you stick with 18?
 
Sure i can understand that, but what made 18psi okay? Just educated guessing on what the engine could handle?

atp made 355 on their test car in fourth... at 18psi. I could ramp it up but I want to make sure my tune is holding up first. It looks like it is. Brakes , clutch, and probably more suspension and engine bracing is next. More power would be a risk in more ways then one.

I dd this thing... I didnt do this not to enjoy it. Small steps from here on out.

That makes sense. How much did that huge jump in power effect your ability to control the car? How is traction through the gears? I know when its cold out i break loose again at the top of 3rd. Has 3rd become useless?

3rd is not useless...I get traction. Control of the car has been affected. Old spots where i used to gun it and id be at 100... now im at 120. I dont have the same amount of time to stop... gentle on ramps, with curves can no longer be floored unless you want to end up in a ditch... in, then out, than in... car will fishtail like crazy. And ive got ms coilovers.

its just a completely different experience. my car before was fun quick... now its scary fast. I cant think of a better way to put it.
 
I think I would make sure I had forged rods / pistons, etc before I messed around with a bigger turbo set up. I guess if you have the $$ and aren't too worried about blowing something up more power to you, literally lol!

Hope it all works out and nothing goes...

If it's a rich tune then it should be okay, as long as he doesn't downshift incorrectly. I would think his clutch would be the first to go before the motor.
 
Awesome numbers man. MS3's are definitely going to be kicking ass all over the place real soon.
