gt2871r vs gt3071r?

whats up guys..

well i want to know what turbo can i put to my ms3 the gt2871r or the gt3071r.. i will be on stock block .and im not planning on going on built motor.. i want a turbo with fast spool and great performance. ill be getting the 3 inlet too..

do you think is a lot of difference between the gt2871r vs the stock turbo?

Go with a gt30.

im not a huge expert on turbo upgrades But Ive heard several times that the 2871 is the biggest turbo you would want to run on this car with stock internals. It also offers the closest spool up time compared to stock and still offers quite a bump in power over stock. The 3071 is obviously a more capable turbo,but once again prabaly not too kosher with the stock internals, but maybe im wrong..either way..tuning tuning tuning is the key for safe success...goodluck!

if you run either of those turbos with the stock internals you are running on borrowed time IMO you need to build the motor.

^^ listen to this guy. fully bolted and your pushing the 350 whp limit. with an upgraded turbo your walking a thin line and eventually your motor is going to fail.

Yea bro. Spend a bit more cash and do your internals at least will give you and all of us Peace of mind. And get a Proper tune. I'm going to the GT3076r but looking for a good AP tuner in Germany before i take the leap to get all the parts i need.
