I'm piecing together the complete trunk cage for the p5. anyone that has it, can you tell me the distance between the cross linkage bars? i need to know before i buy them if my sub box will fit in between them.

I have two 12" subs in the back so its a good sized box

i just picked it up, but b wont installing until feb., i can try and measure the parts if that will help

i've seen someone have it installed on a p5 before....the full cage and rear strut arm....can't rememeber who's car though

I have it fully installed (see attached pic). I assume you need the distance between the bracing arms at the top? When it's not freezing outside I'll run out and take a quick measurement. IIRC, it really isn't a lot. I'm going to estimate that you lose at least 4 inches on both sides. Also bear in mind it will be very difficult to put the side plastic trim pieces back in. I just left mine out because I have nothing of important back there. With a sub box you might want to think otherwise.

yeah, at the top right where it connects with the strut bar. i would greatly appreciate it. if need be, i might just slide the box further towards the rear of the car and mount the amp in between the box and the seats

i mounted the amp and my cap to the box itself....if i need to pull it out...one thing....and i left my subs facing toward the front of the car

Back end felt tighter and more planted but then again it could just be a placebo. This with the stiffer rear swaybar have made my P5's rear end quite rigid. If I jack up one side of my car both the front and rear wheels lift off the ground independent of the jack location.

i was just wondering if you felt it was worth the money and the loss of cargo space. its interested me since i saw it, just wanted to see what you guys thought. and thats pretty impressive which sway bar are you rolling with?

I have the Progress rear swaybar and I'm using stock endlinks. However, if I could go back and do it again I'd go with the MSP rear swaybar and rear subframe (required to fit properly) and possible try the AWR endlinks again. The MSP swaybar just has a much better design despite being a little thinner than the Progress.
