damn that's hot, talk about chassis stiffness. congrats (and post up the cf trunk when you get it on)

Thanx Marc (thumb)

Pics of the trunk on the car should be posted tomorrow afternoon, but we'll see......

And as far as in the install goes on the bars.......sort of time consuming to remove all the plastic panels and carpet to get them fitted. Once thats all off, the bar install is pretty cake......easier if you have two people helping, but i did it myself. 'MP3architect' was there helping me, but it got late so i went home to finish it myself........The Cage kit was missing two nuts to tighten the cage in the top 2 corners near the rear strut housings.......but thats nothing good ol' AutoZone couldnt fix :)

.....and these are the only bars i have at the moment. My buddy 'SmurfedPro5' on the board has the entire kit, and hes what made me fall in love with them :)

Ask your friend (or have him come on here) about the installs of the bars. I have almost the whole kit as well, but have no idea how to put the things on. Instructions didn't come with any of the bars so I kinda need some guidance. Plus I wanted to get his opinions/feedback about the bars and how his suspension works all together.

Sweet!! I would love to get a set....now get that trunk lid installed (naughty)

Hehe.......yeah, no instructions either......i kinda just went at it, trying to figure s*** out :) I had some small white pieces of metal with bolts left over, i have no idea where they were supposed to go........u can see em in the first pic at the bottom.

sorry...dumb question, have you closed the trunk since installing the bar? because it looks like the swing arms of the trunk will hit the gtspec bar. looks lined up with it in the second pic, on both sides, so it's not a camera angle/trick thing

I wondered about that too when first test fitting it........after it was in and tightened, i closed the trunk........and it misses the back bar by a few centimeters when fully closed :) Either thats great design or they just lucked out, hehe

yea i bet the most outer point of the swing arm just misses the highest point of the bar. and i bet you it's luck :)

more like designed that way. how else could so many other speeds have them?

they look sexier in person by the way. we haven't gotten the chance to feel them out yet since we were waiting to get the trunk installed right. but we got it on there now and he's on his way to work now so im sure he's testing those babies out (although it is a tad wet outside so i hope he isn't takin the turns too hard)
