Gsr Got Smoked

I JUST GOT HEADERS A WEEK AGO AND I IVE BEEN WAITING FOR A HONDA OR ACURA TO REV ME. WELL LAST NIGHT I WAS ON THE FREEWAY GOING ABOUT 75 MPH WHEN A GSR REV ON ME. SO WE BOTH DROP IT INTO THRID GEAR, AND BY THE WAY HE CAME UP ON ME SO HE HAD THE GO. WELL ANYWAYS I PULLED ON HIM ALL THOUGH THRID AND INTO FOURTH GEAR AND THEN WHEN WE BOLTH LET OFF I WAS A GOOD CAR AND A HALF AHEAD.JUST THOUGHT I WOULD SHARE.PEACE

Are you sure it was a GSR, them things pull hard up top.If it was, good kill.I tried to pull on a GSR in my p5 on the highway and got *****.

YA, IM SURE.IT HAD THE EMBELM AND IT HAD SOME UPGRADES I SWEAR GETING HEADERS WAS THE BEST THING IVE DONE TO MY CAR. BEFORE I ALWAYS WOULD GET MESSED WITH BY HONDAS
MOSTLY BECAUSE ARE CARS LOOK SO GOOD AND THERE HATING.BUT I WOULD ALWAYS GET SMOKED.KNOW ITS TERE TURN.

so excatly what kind of headers do you have anyhow...you have to do any mods to get to fit without a cel

i have mazda racing headers.i also have an injen intake and a custom cat back ext. my header does through a cel light but thats because theres no front cat to read off of. the port is hooked up but, im woking on geting the cel light turned off. ill keep everyone posted. oh in case your wondering about the egr its hooked up to.

use the little circuit from zx2racing.com for the check engine light. i have it on my car with the same header and it works great

Seriously, I would like to see where the EGR gets hooked up, and underneath the car where it connects to your exhaust. Thanks.

Not to be an asshole, but I would imagine that was a Misbadged LS or GS you raced. GSR's used to put up a pretty good fight with my old 1994 Ford Probe GT at the track... and the mods you describe wouldn't give a P5 near enough to even hang with a GSR. My roomate's g/f in college had a 4-door GSR 5 speed. It would run pretty damn well stock... Hell, that bastard pulled a mid 7 second run 0-60 on my bulls***-o-meter (G-Tech).

I don't mean to try and talk s*** or anything, but I would imagine the owner of the Integra was swapping decals... Either that or he confused 3rd gear with 5th. Also, your 3rd gear at 75 would only leave you about 5MPH till redline... 4th would be a little better choice at that speed, unless you were starting from 65 or less.

Street racing is dangerious, especially on the freeway. Nice kill, but be careful we don't want an injured pro or owner. I work @ a body shop and see totals all day, not pleasing. Take it easy.
