2007 Mazdaspeed 6
Good day,

My name is Dave and I just bought a new 2007 velocity red micah MS6 (GT sans nav) and pick it up October 15th. I've been trolling the forums here and just wanted to say hi and introduce myself.

I'm retiring my 1998 GrandPrix GTP. I had fun modifying it down to break 14s (13.98 pb), alas 250k later, a burnt out transmission, and many runs down the 1/4 mile track it's time to lay her to rest.

I've picked up the mod bug right where I left off and already started in on the MS6 having the dealership throw in the MS CAI and sport shifter (35% reduction in throw) and I don't even have the car yet.

Anyway, I'll keep trolling the "search" function on the boards for my upcoming mods and look forward to picking your minds on thoughts and ideas.

Take care,
Dave

Welcome aboard, make sure to post up some pictures.

I didn't know Mazdaspeed has a shifter for the MS6, I knew they had one for the regular 6s.

Doesnt the Speed6 allready have the shorter throw shifter installed???

I'll have to check into that and make sure. It's a very good possibility that's the case. I seemed to know more about the car then the salesman when I was in there. Thanks for the heads up.

Kramer. Went to Sunridge and the guy didn't take me serious at all, wouldn't even let me test drive the car. I'm a young looking 28 year old, guess he figured I was just trying to go for a joy ride. So went to Kramer the next day, Mike is an awesome guy, so I bought the car from him.

I bought mine from sunridge mazda - the only thing I regret about the car was buying it from those yahoos - terible service

Ha another terrible mazda dealership eh? Yeah I had the same problem. The test drive and everything went ok, but everyone else in the office was a sack of s***. And to make it worse half the people that worked there when I first went to buy the thing quit so I had a ton of stuff that I had to take care of myself because none of the new people knew anything about it.

This was at Park mazda in sherwood park, just outside edmonton.

welcome to the boards Dave. a lot of the salesmen don't seem to know a whole lot about the car....
