I can't seem to get the darn adjustment screw set properly. I lose throttle response drastically. Any help?

if your venting to atmosphere and your not tuned for it, thats your problem....

I'm not venting to atmosphere. I didn't buy it on eBay. Bought it from Greddy website. The adjustment screw is what I'm talking about. I can't find a good spot to where I'm not losing major throttle response.

I don't know what to tell you. I have never played with that BOV before. For now I would say throw the OEM one back on and ask a shop to give you some pointers. But I have heard nothing but problems with a BOV for the MS3.

Are you having a lot of turbo lag? Or is it just not spooling fast enough in general? Give a brief synopsis on how the car is acting and I might be able to dissect your issue.

It's just not spooling up nearly as fast. I am goin to sell it I guess. It worked just fine on my GTI. I'll go with a diverted valve I guess. Thanks for the help guys.

Sorry we couldnt be more help. I just havent heard of this being an issue. Especially with a K04 turbo. The things as big as a peach seed. Ha. Try a Turbosmart or something. Even in full recirc they sound great and improve throttle response when shifting.

I don't know if this might help, but I have the Type S on mine. I forgot to put the gaskets to the flanges in, and had the same problems. The car is a completely diff car now! Spools super fast and holds to redline! Hope you solve your problem

im a noob here but ive had my ms3 for 2 years running the GFB(go fast bits) RESPONSE bov ,and have had great luck..its low buck, cnc machined and is recirc / vta...may wanna try that ...made in australia ,cant go wrong ,them boys know how to go fast ....lol

Turn the screw all the way out when the car is idling, you should see the piston/diaphram being pulled up from the vacuum source.

Start screwing in the screw until the diaphram shuts, then turn the screw an additonal 1/2 turn. That should do the trick. If not then it might be installed wrong causing a boost leak or a poor vacuum source.
