Well i got this early birthday gift from my Wife and its the greddy emange ultimate and the thing that sold me on it even though every one here (or most of) have said that it won't work for our cars was the fact that on the web site and even on the back of the box Was the FS-ZE engine code which for those who don't know is the high compression better breathing NA, JDM version of the Mazdaspeed protege since it makes 170. The reason i got it is because it can do more than the MPI i got now but since the mpi is a proven hard worker i wanted to make sure that i don't get fukd over by doing the swap without doing a check up so i took an extra car battery hooked up the greddy to battery and connected the USB to the computer and even did the down load of the 2.0 update but to no surprise i saw no FS-ZE(scratch)
I'm not at a lose of money because i have a few people that will buy it off of me at about the price i got it for with all three harness which was 560 but first i'm going to try to see if my shop owner friend can contact greddy/trust to see if the FS-ZE will ever come about and if it does I want to let ya'll know unless someone has already gotten a workable file that i can download. but we'll see if this story will be a broken record like the others but if i could be the first to get it workin that would be nice to!

PM Daedalus, I think it had the ultimate for a period of time.

you might be right i'll c but i think he tried to work his off of another engine code but had to many problems if i remember right.

By other engine you mean the FS-DE. Which is what he has, as well as everyone else, including yourself (unless you swapped). There are only a handful of people on this board that have done the FS-ZE swap. I believe he scrapped the Ultimate due to it's cost vs. other tuning platforms. Not quite sure though.

No when i say other i mean Other than the fs-ze code that should of been in the update not other engine code like he swaped something else into it but use another pre-programed setup. I wouldn't swap my motor for an Fs-ze unless someone put a gun to my head! sorry for the confussion i may have gotten him confused with someone else like i said my memory isn't that good but i think someone tried to do it off of the BP 1.8 engine program set up

I found the same problem (FS-ZE) on box, but not in software. Been using BP-ZE(NA). MOSTLY working ok. There are more sensor options in the latest update (v 2.0), but still no FS-ZE, which still might not be useful anyway due to diiferent sensors between countries eg. cankshaft position sensor in Australia is 3 tooth and missing tooth in U.S.

Crank angle sensor is 4 tooth according to my microtech installation guide...i think its something like 32 tooth in the states....

Cam angle sensor is 2 + 1 tooth i think .... (been a while since i looked...)
