they make the greddy evo specific fit to the protege 5 but the only difference between the wagon and the sedan is that the back pipe is about 3 inches longer on the sedan...how far does the muffler stick out on the p5? is it flush or is does it stick out like it does on other cars? if anyone has the greddy exhaust could you please tell me this?

thanks

DOUBLE POST....

but besides that the sedan version of the exhaust i beleive is one is for turbo, not the evo, and the evo is for p5. that is the differences i beleive between the two. to my knowledge they dont build an n/a sedan exhaust. ALSO protege5 exhausts will be smaller on sedans. If you are keen on getting an exhaust look into megan racing. AODfan sells them at an incredible price shipped. I just ordered mine on monday so ill let you know how it feels once i install it! But good luck and hope this helps

i know they don't make a specific fit greddy for the non mazdaspeed sedan, but i'm trying to find out if the greddy evo2 kit for the protege 5 would work... if it sticks out 3 to 4 inches from the back bumper of a protege 5 it will be close to tucking underneath the sedan which is what i want anyway...if it is almost flush with the back bumper on the protege 5 i will have to weld in an extra little length of pipe to make it fit properly.

i beleive it fits flush...does not stick out too much, the search button does wonders as well!

just to add to the topic. If you will indeed get the exhaust primarily made for P5, and put it on Sedan, you are disking melting the spot on the bumper where exhaust throws the exhaust gases out towards that spot.

so there's not one p5 owner on this forum that has the greddy exhaust and can answer this question for me??????????
