greddy bov

as you guys know or some of you know im having big time backfiring problems due to the greddy bov, i was searching on the turboxs bov adapters kits and found this.


Allows you to mount a TurboXS BOV-H or BOV-H-RFL to a Greddy Type S flanges intercooler pipe. Blow Off Valve not included.

my questions is will this combination work? i looked at my greddy valve and it says greddy type rs i think all 3 have the same flange, type r, type s , and type rs. also will this bov solve my backfiring problem it said its tune to go vta or recirculate without any cel or backfiring. please i need to if it will work so i can go ahead and ordered. thanks guys.

Confused.... you want to buy a new bov to replace your greddy rs? GReddy rs (as far as I know) is set up to recirculate. So if you are running it vta, that is probably your problem. Get a bypass like the forge unit or just run the Turbo XS hybrid you found. I'm running the hybrid and like it alot. ZERO issues, 2 bolts and 2 hoses, sounds great. It vents half and recirculates half... keeps the MAF happy and gives you a nice whip crack sound.

The second issue I see is getting the turbo xs 50/50 to fit to a GReddy flange on your pipe? When in doubt, email or call support for the website you are on. ALL of the people I've talked to who sell performance products really know their stuff. See what they say.

in order to recirculate i will have to order a new piping from corksport in order to be able to recirculate. turbo xs sells a kit that alows the turboxs hybrid valve to be install on a greddy flange. it will be easy for me to install the kit then the hybrid valve than replace the piping on the fmic.
